New Release
Luxer's released his newest binary bot, the link in the last news post should get you to his site. Pay more attention to his site than this one, Kane probably won't have time for real development anytime soon.

Outsourcing
Until I get some more time and redo this site (it really is a piece of junk...) and someone steps into Kane's footsteps, you might want to contact KraftyBowMan on AIM about Mac Bots.

Trouble...
I'm having trouble uploading the Kanebot fix. It will hopefully be resolved soon, though. Sorry for the delays.

Sorry about that
Yeah, so the Carbon version (at least) doesn't work. Kane quit the project because he got a better computer and has been playing StarCraft avidly for the past two weeks like a son of a @!$%#. Anyways, the working version can be obtained from ebel 3003 on AIM.

A New Hope...
Well, I did some talking with Kane, and he conceded. He'll quit the development of KaneBot, but since he made it open source, he allowed me to follow up with the orginazation of the distribution of whatever new programs fans may make. So, if any of you fans ever make anything you think worthy of this site (or not, I won't care!), gimme an email at ndtippens@gmail.com.

KaneBot 2005 released
KaneBot 2005 has been released. Click here to download.

It is not what you have expected. It is not what you want. It is what I want. Laziness has payed off: I am not screwing around with it anymore.

This is the last public release of KaneBot. I have other projects which I must focus my attention to.

Source code can be found here. It has been developed with REALbasic 4.5. It should be able to compile with REALbasic 5.5 or even newer with a few modifications to bring it up to date.

Please do not contact me further regarding KaneBot. I am not interested in writing a Battle.net bot for other people to use, and I never really have. The bot is named "Kane" bot for a reason: I wrote it for ME, not YOU. Consider yourself lucky that you've got the sourcecode. Go learn REALbasic and fix it up yourself, if you want. It's not like it's hard.

Use my code to make your own binary Macintosh Battle.net bot. Remember that patience is well rewarded. Good luck and Godspeed.
