Some of the testers have requested that PurpleTooth 2.0b104 be put up for download since the official site is currently private, and thus they are unable to download it from the official site.

So, I've decided to add download links to the "KaneBot's Competition" panel. If at any time, these links become invalid, then I still have a copy of each of these which I could put up on my server.

You can download...
P2b104 Carbon (OSX) here.
P2b104 Fat (PPC/68k) here.
JXBot 1.0b308 here.
KlevnBot 1.8.2 here.
ThunderChat 1.1 (Official release) here.
ThunderChat 2.0a2 (Alpha release) here.

Gah, KBg3d3 put off till I can fix 3 things...

Last-minute testing found some errors which would not allow Purpletooth 2 to be a controlling bot (you stupid Tarth/Static... you're supposed to send 13 + 12 at the end of every line not just 13!! B.net isn't a Mac! And, you're supposed to WAIT for the logon request...!), as well as an error in the caching of the local connection index, which would cause 2 OutOfBounds exceptions (handled though, just annoying) whenever someone would leave or join the channel...

Let me fix these first, retry the tests, and THEN send d3 to the beta testers :/

I've done some more work on the bot. Whatever was causing me to get disconnected immediately after connection seems to have mostly dissapeared. I'm now getting that only once in a while instead of constant.

Because of this, I started to resume my work on the bot just over a week ago, and I've found that there was a bug in the packet parser and a bug which would cause duplicate forwarding of the game packets. Both have been fixed, and I've added the most important packet displaying and the ability to send chat packets.

Thursday of last week, I was able to talk to several people on my bot. This is a good sign.

I'll be sending the next beta out to the beta list in a few minutes, along with the instructions on how to connect and run a bot ontop of KaneBot.

I've added some screenshots to the screenshots section.
