My ISP's webserver didn't have enough room for all of the files I'd wanted to put there, so I've instead only moved KaneBot to the server, and then whatever fits (which currently happens to be all) for what's left of the other bots which are not hosted by their author or their author's website any longer (which is all competition except for Prolix, Battlegram, and MacBattleChat).

I'll be moving the downloads section to my ISP's webserver. This way, my DSL line won't get clobbered every time someone downloads a file, and hey... you might even get better speeds, too!
Additionally, REALbasic 4.5 still fails me. I plan on buying a REALbasic 5.0 serial number to remedy the situation soon. But, it will take a while, since I'm flat broke. Also, I may (not definitely) be moving out of California within a few weeks. If that's the case, then during that time, I will have zero productivity and zero methods of contact.
Hopefully...

Hrmm... I seem to have a bad time with hard drives.... :( I've had more hard drive failures in the past 5 years than I remember... But hopefully, this time it might bring some good with it.
You see, this time, it was only my system partition that was corrupted. I just finished recovering it, but I'm getting all kinds of weird problems, and plan on simply reformatting it shortly. With that in mind, I'm very hopeful that REALbasic will behave properly once again, after the reformat.
I haven't been online or checked mail or anything, for the past 3 days or so, because of the hard drive failure, and I just caught up with email, and I'll catch up with other stuff after I've reformatted my system partition.

Okay, I lied... I didn't change the BNLS password. I had thought I was close to being able to fix the problem with REALbasic, but apparently was not (and still has yet to be fixed). As such, I did not change the password because of the BNLS password being hardcoded, and me not having a way to update my own copy of the bot so that I can still use it to talk with other people.
I keep getting emails asking when there'll be the next release of KaneBot. Is it not clear that there will not be another release until REALbasic is fixed? Either way, if anyone has any information as to how I might be able to fix it, please come forward, as I am out of ideas, and cannot yet afford to upgrade to REALbasic 5.1 to use that.
